ID: G1 Title: STOA' (Gallery) OF ATTALO, Athens, Greece.

Chronology of intervention:
-1950: Reconstruction by United States archeologists.
Type of the intervention:
Reintegration of the Stoà of Attalo located to the bottom of the Acropolis.

Description of the Intervention:
-1950:
-Re-composition of fragments and successive reintegration with hand Penteli marble.
-The arcade is covered by a reinforced concrete ceiling, covered by wood to simulate the original structure.
-The intervention was supported by the United States and the workers were selected in the area.
-Technical defect: the wood covers a structure in reinforced concrete; one can foresee future corrosion of the steel reinforcement in the concrete structures.
