Chronology of intervention: -End of the XVIII th century: It was first Rejeb Ben Ayed, employee to the service of Hamouda Pacha that, the first, would have founded his home and was enlarged by his successors. -Middle of the XIX th century: Transformations owed to the sharing of the complex Palatine between the heirs Ben Ayed, then purchase of the palace by the general Rachid. -May, 1896: The palace is affected to the church of the Rosary. -1920: Funds are harvested to do the most remarkable transformations and additions most important of this time -June 1964: The building became a good of the Tunisian state affected to the "Choôba of Tourbet El Bey" that used it like a room of feast and centre of formation. -From 2000: Restoration, funding, and enhancement works. |
